Terms of Service

Effective April 22, 2026

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the QuietCam mobile application (the “App”) and the website at getcovert.app (the “Site”), together the “Service.” By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the Service.

Using QuietCam responsibly

You are responsible for how you use QuietCam and for the content you capture. You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in a way that respects the rights, privacy, and dignity of others. Recording people without their consent may be illegal in your jurisdiction — it is your responsibility to understand and follow the laws that apply to you.

Your license

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App on Apple-branded devices that you own or control, subject to these Terms and Apple’s App Store guidelines.

Subscriptions and purchases

Some features may be offered as an optional in-app purchase or subscription. Purchases are processed by Apple and billed to your Apple ID. Subscriptions automatically renew unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID account settings. Refunds are handled by Apple under its standard refund policy.

Your content

Photos and videos you capture in the App stay on your device. You retain all rights to them. QuietCam does not claim any ownership over your captures.

Acceptable use

  • Don’t reverse-engineer, decompile, or modify the App except as permitted by law.
  • Don’t try to access accounts or data that aren’t yours.
  • Don’t use the Service to harass, stalk, or otherwise harm another person.

Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We don’t guarantee that the Service will be error-free, uninterrupted, or meet your specific requirements.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, QuietCam and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data or captures. Our total liability for any claim arising out of the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim (or USD 10 if you paid nothing).

Changes to the Service and these Terms

We may update the App, the Site, and these Terms. When changes are material, we’ll update the effective date above and, where appropriate, surface a notice. Continued use of the Service after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

Termination

You can stop using the Service at any time by deleting the App. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of your country of residence to the extent required by applicable consumer protection rules; otherwise, they are governed by the laws of the Republic of Bulgaria, without regard to its conflict of laws rules.
